Not a Highlight Reel.
God Is Still Writing.

Every name below is real. Every mountain community is still climbing. These are not testimonials we collect. They are Hope, taking root in front of us, one faithful year at a time.

Written testimonies. Photos from the field. Families who send a third generation through the same school gates. This is what a sacred trust looks like when it is kept, one child and one community at a time.

A Written Testimony

She was selling gasoline from a barrel on the side of a road.

It is common work in the mountains of southern Haiti, and dangerous work. Fumes. Fire risk. No safety net when something goes wrong. Père Albert knew exactly where that road led for a girl with nowhere else to go.

He got her into school. She became a nurse.

She is one nurse, in one clinic, in one mountain community that could have lost her to the side of a road. That is the story God keeps writing here, one child called into school at a time.

More From the Mountains

Every community has a story worth telling

Trust rebuilt over a year. A trade turned into a calling. These are the ordinary, faithful outcomes of equipping children in the mountains of southern Haiti.

Before & After: A Community Transformed

From the Trees to the Open Field

The first time visitors from HEF came to this village, the people ran and hid behind the trees. A school opened anyway, and it stayed open. A teacher kept showing up, year after year. A year later, the whole village stood in the open field to greet the visitors, dressed and proud.

A Vocational Outcome

The First Haitian Salesforce Certified

He was among the first students in his community to finish trade school. He kept studying long after the coursework ended. He became the first Haitian to earn a Salesforce certification. Now he is building the system that will track HEF alumni and their generational impact for years to come.

A Family, Three Generations Deep

Three Generations. One Hope.

More than three decades ago, the first HEF students walked through a classroom door in the mountains of southern Haiti. Their children walked through the same door next.

Today, HEF is educating the grandchildren of its very first students. This is not a metric on a report. It is what lasting change looks like when a sacred trust is kept, faithfully, one generation after the next.
